Thin Walls
Walls in an old building are thin. Here is what is heard through ours, by whom, and what you can ask us to forget.
What we keep
- Account: email, a hashed password, first name, gender, date of birth, plus anything you pin to your flat.
- The chats, plus the notes a tenant writes about you so she can remember.
- A session cookie, and one that remembers you passed the 18+ intercom.
- Payment records: an amount and a transaction reference. No bank card is accepted, so none reaches us.
- Standard server logs, held briefly for security.
What it is for
Purpose: to run the chat, enforce the code and keep the bulbs lit. Messages are handled by an AI model on our side, or by a provider bound to that single task, with automated screening for safety. Chats are not sold and no advertiser overhears them.
Counting footsteps
A simple visitor tally says how many climbed the stairs and from which street. It cannot hear a word spoken inside a flat.
What you can do
The chat menu lets you amend a tenant's notes about you, export the conversation, or delete it. To clear the entire account, write to the footer address from your registered email. If local law gives you more, say so and we will comply.
